This protective equipment is used at 11 kV sub-station. The main Load Break Switch (LBS) mechanism is available for 630A & the over current protection scheme is done through HRC fuse. The panel includes 3 numbers of CT (Current Transformer) & 2/3 numbers of PT (Potential Transformer) for measuring system current & voltage respectively & 3 numbers of HRC Fuses for protection of overload. The scheme is so designed that if fault occurs in any phase it will isolate the whole three phases from the system instantly. The panel also includes 3 numbers of Ampere meters & one number of Voltmeter with selector switch for monitoring system current & voltage. The standard panel size is 900x900x1800 mm & weight is around 450 kg.

Auto/Manual Power Factor Improvement Plant that are specially designed to save electricity. These panels comprises of a power factor controller that accurately monitors reactive power in power systems in order to save energy. These are also used to monitor the power factor of various electrical systems. We also assemble various capacitors, HRC Fuse MCB, MCCB and heavy duty contractors in PFI that acts as in-built protective devices to cut off power in case there is excess power in the system. The capacitors are also provided with series reactors that minimize harmonic current that otherwise can alter system voltage and current. Depending on the load variation the PFI Panel automatically switches the externally/internally installed capacitor ON or OFF to bring it to the desired or preset value of power factor.

ACB’S: Air circuit breakers are rated 800A to 4000A, AC 50HZ 380V in voltage. The breaker is mainly used to distribute electric energy in the power distribution network and to prevent the circuit and power source equipment from overload, under voltage and short circuit. Under the normal conditions, the breaker can be used to switch the circuit and start the motor infrequently. With the current limiting characteristics, the ACB is especially suitable for the large short-circuit current is likely to occur.
VCB’S: AC high voltage vacuum circuit breaker is a type of holistic and completely sealed HV switchgear it has compactable dimension and small volume. The VCB applies to power system of rated voltage 12kV, three-phase and AC 50/60Hz. It is applicable in occasions with frequent operations, acting to protect and control line and electric apparatus. The product conforms to IEC62271, GB1984, JB3855 and DL1403 and passes KEMA test.
RCCB’S: the RCD employs the current balance principle which involves the supply conductors to the load (phase & neutral) wound onto a common transformer core to form the primary windings. Under healthy conditions, the current in the phase conductor is equal to the current in the neutral, and the vector sum of the current is zero. In the event of an amount of current will flow to earth. The RCD trip mechanism will operate at a residual current of between 50 – 100% of its rating tripping current (sensitivity).
Thermal overload relay is used in connection with A and AF to protect motor against overload and phase failure with a rated operating voltage. The range of thermal overload relay are from 0.28A up to 230A
Magnetic contactors are used for controlling three phase motor and power circuits and other applications like bypass, capacitor switching lighting etc. The magnetic contactor ratting are two type one AC-1 and other AC-3.
